Costa Rei Kitesurfing: spot description

Kitesurfing Costa Rei Cagliari Sardinia

Costa Rei, part of district of Muravera, is famous for its crystal water and unspoiled coves.

In the Costa Rei area, that covers about 10 km of coast from Cala Sinzias to Porto Pirastu, there are many spots for kitesurfing all with different features; generally all the spots are “wave”.

The winds come almost always by perturbation but it is possible to find, sometimes, during the summer hot days, also breeze of 18 knots.

The best winds are Grecale (North-East, onshore left side), Tramontana (North, onshore side left), Levante and Scirocco (onshore right side). Sometimes, during the hot summer days, can blow a breeze of 14-18 knots.

During the summer season, the presence of many bathers and the absence launching lanes, can cause some problems for kitesurfing.
